Jews Immigrating to Israel

The Israeli government estimates that 90,000 Jews will immigrate to Israel in the next 18 months. “The Jewish Agency, Nefesh B’Nefesh, Qalita and other organizations dealing with aliyah have all stated of late that the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted a large spike in the number of Jews expressing interest in immigrating” (Jerusalem Post, June 17, 2020). The return of the Jews to their native land in an unconverted condition is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Ezekiel 37:1-14 describes a two-stage resurrection. First, they rise up “but there was no breath in them” (Eze. 37:7-8). Then, they come to life by the Spirit of God (Eze. 37:9-10). The first part of the prophecy is necessary to set the stage for the fulfillment of Daniel’s 70th Week (Da. 9:27). Only a spiritually-blind Israel will make a covenant with the Antichrist.
